The price of green B1F increased to USD 3.36, representing a 10% increase compared to last year. Due to the shortage in Brazil, there was a huge demand for Argentinian tobacco this year.

The Argentina Burley crop size is calculated to be 40 million kilos, with 35 million kilos produced in Misiones and 5 million kilos produced in Tucuman. Almost 25 million kilos have been purchased from the farmers by Brazilian companies and shipped to Brazil for processing.
