The 2023 FCV Crop size is calculated as 1934 million kilos which represents a 5% increase compared to last year. The quality of upper and low stalk positions is lower than the previous year due to the excess rainfall during the growing season. China is increasing its crop size by 5% every year for the last 4 years. The export quota has been decided as 111 million kilos for 2023.

The 2023 Burley Crop size is expected to be around 10 million kilos which 8 million kilos in 2022.
